It is always a good idea to change passwords. You may have read in the media that Twitter is advising all users to change their Twitter password.
Here is the advice from Twitter “Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that you consider changing your password on all services where you’ve used this password. You can change your Twitter password anytime by going to the password settings page.”
One advice to note. It is not a good practice to use the same or similar passwords on different accounts.
Twitter recommends.
- Change your twitter password by going to your desktop https://twitter.com/settings/password
- If you have used the password on other websites change the password there as well.
